Plan 4930 / A – Expansion of Highway 1 at the Entrance of Jerusalem

This plan, which is part of a nationwide plan aiming to expand the highway connecting Jerusalem with Tel Aviv, located at the entrance to Jerusalem. Widening the highway requires demolition of houses in the village of Lifta near the road, houses populated by descendants of the inhabitants of Lifta which migrated from Kurdistan. The houses to be demolished are marked with a dotted yellow line.
