Plan 2860 – Begin Highway North

1981

Begin Highway was built in the 90s, it separated Lifta from the Romema neighborhood (Upper Lifta) located on the east side of the village. This plan from 1981 shows, in addition to the new road, the roads network which connected the village to Jerusalem and got destroyed due to the construction of the highway.
